There are probably other ways to do it but I think what I am describing will be the lowest cost route. Peter You may see I sometimes use CAT for PTT as an alternative to switching via RTS, either will work with the FT-891 and SCU-17 if both usb cables re connected as per my notes.

On the General tab, set your callsign and full Maidenhead Locator. Start WSJT-X and click on File > Settings. The screen-shots below are currently based on WSJT-X v2.0.0-rc2.

The problem with new transceivers is the lack of support for drivers in programs like Ham Radio Deluxe, WSJT-X (OmniRig), N1MM+ and MicroHam drivers. I wanted to capture the PTT command and try piardopc with the -p. I also tried to use socat to capture the message for PTT using JS8Call, but I didn't see the red transmit light come on.talkiepi is a single-button, push-to-talk walkie-talkie build that allows users to talk with their friends easily over WiFi, without the confusion of frequency dials, random buttons, and all the other clicky, turny, pushy options that caused me to break my own walkie-talkies as a child.
